 Thanksgiving Break:

Thanksgiving break was not long enough. I started my break off with Friendsgiving which I hosted on Saturday evening. I spent the day before preparing on Friday, spending over $300 just on groceries, deep cleaning my entire house for my brown mom's approval, and making sure to take care of any last-minute errands for my family. I can not cook for the sake of my life, so I just gave moral support to my mom and sister as they cooked the main food and dessert. When Saturday finally came, I spent my morning at a religious class where my uncle had lectured, making it interesting to me. At Friendsgiving, I had many friends come over, and they bought food and enjoyed their night hopefully. On Sunday, a friend of mine coaches a basketball team, so I went to watch his team play which took the majority of my day. I had much fun watching the kids play and getting to see some of my old friends at the event as well. On Monday I did nothing special except play Fortnite and go to work. We had a potluck at work, in which they fed us well, and I got to just relax for a little bit. On Tuesday, I went to sand volleyball with three of my friends for about 2 hours before I headed to work. We were honestly not that bad, with the music and in the sand, we had so much fun just playing random games of volleyball. That night my sister and I went shopping for her birthday dress (we very much did not buy anything). Finally, on Wednesday I had no work, making me the happiest human on Earth. I went to Main Event with a group of my friends, and I was forced to socialize with new people which is not my thing. However, they were honestly all chill and I made friends. We bowled for a while, and then I just sat and talked with a good friend for 30 minutes talking about life. It was refreshing to get to talk with no restraints about what I can and cannot say. Then for about an hour, I took 3 of my friends in my car which they could barely even sit in, and we drove around and got lost, singing at the top of our lungs. Thursday was my sister's birthday, so I went to pick up her cake, disappointed because the cake was not what I ordered, and they told me sorry we could not remake it because we were closing early. I wanted to cry at that moment, but it had to do for now, I went home and my family came over in the afternoon to celebrate. My mom made Biryani and Zarda so have also been eating that for 4 days to finish it. My little cousin slept over and she wanted to watch Christmas movies, and turned on Best Christmas Ever. Honestly, it is a one-time watch, there is not much of a plot, but it is a cute movie. Friday is the best and worst day because it was Black Friday shopping. We left our house around 12 and came home at 10 at night. Galleria was our first stop, but my aunt kept rushing us, making us annoyed so we left from there around 2. We came home and dropped her and my cousin off home, got food then headed to Katy Mills. I could not feel my feet by the end of the day, we walked around for hours, and I spent around $150, which was less than I expected. I got more than 15 items, and my bank account did not like that. The next paycheck better comes out decent cause that car payment not looking good after the shopping spree. Saturday came once again, and we went shopping and had lunch with my family. This was a chill day, but I was ready to slump again because of how tired I got in the past two days. Sunday, I went to an anniversary party which was good cause they had good food and a little photo stand. They printed out photos for us and everything was just too cute over there. Also, this was the day I ended up doing all my assignments. Overall, my break was fun, and I wish it was longer. I can not wait till Christmas break!
