I have joined many clubs and organizations through school mainly for resume purposes, but I only truly enjoyed one, DECA. Deca is a competition-based club with districts, states, and national competitions. My favorite was my junior year state competition where we stayed in Dallas for two nights and three days getting to make many memories. Going into the weekend I had only been close to Sid and knew most other people going, but was not that close with any of them. Once we got there Pratyusha, Heera, Kushi, and Sid adopted me into their group and let me hang out with them the whole weekend. During the day we would explore the hotel, avoid our advisor, and get food any chance we could. When I was not able to go out with them I hung out with my out-of-school friends in their room where we all were doing Delta Math and stressing because my pre-cal teacher was a tad crazy.
